Travel is good for your soul

This Wednesday, I'm teaching my STRONG by Zumba® class at 6:45 am, then hopping on a plane to San Francisco! We'll be touring the city of San Fran for a few days, then getting on another flight to Salt Lake City for my cousin's wedding! I can't wait! 
Travel is something I've always loved. It's so fun to experience new places, and it always seems to bring Mike and I even closer. The experiences we've shared, and things we've seen together, are amazing. Some of my best memories have included my travel destinations, and I'm thankful for these experiences. 

Earlier this week, I had a discussion with my intern on her last day of work. I encouraged her to always take opportunities to travel. Travel gave me knowledge that I would not have found anywhere else. Travel introduced me to people I would have never had the opportunity to be exposed to. 
So, this got me thinking... Could travel really be beneficial to your  mental health? Well, it seems the answer is yes! Click below to read six mental health benefits to travel.
